The Department of English at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for part-time lecturer positions to teach undergraduate courses included in the English Department's Emphasis in Creative Writing.
Courses may include 1) English 16 The Craft of Poetry 2) Writing 90 Intermediate Poetry 3) Writing 91 Intermediate Fiction 4) Writing 101W Seminar in Critical Writing and 5) Writing 110 Short Story Writing, during the fall, winter and spring quarters of the 2019-2020 academic year.
Eligibility and Application Procedure: Successful applicants must have experience and demonstrated competence teaching creative writing workshops at the college level. Submit a letter of application, indicating in your opening paragraph that you wish to be considered for an appointment beginning in fall quarter 2019.
